Many are blown away by the 4K video recording and still some are even more impressed by the high resolution 8.8 MP still frames while in video capture. The videographer will have a great tool in his arsenal although the still photographer may want a bit more in terms of the not so impressive 16.05 MP Digital Live MOS Sensor but overall both users types will have a good mix to respond to their creative desires.
Hardware and Design
It is bigger than the compacts but that is to be expected, it measures 5.23 x 3.68 x 3.30 in (excluding protrusions) but it is well formed for the human hand. The magnesium alloy body is light at 16.93 oz (Body only) but it is rugged enough to take on most environments. The controls and the fully articulated LCD are all within easy reach of the fingers and have been intuitively placed.
